In the Heart of Gold studio in Lexington, Ashley Lowe designs mother and daughter sessions around the way you actually are together. Some mothers and daughters are quiet and close. Others laugh through the whole shoot. The session is paced to draw out the real version, not a posed version, and the lighting is controlled so the finished piece reads as a painting rather than a photograph.
Every commission ends with archival lab prints and custom framing, delivered and installed in your home. This is a portrait made to outlast the moment it captures.
